Pt II, Line 9	The Club does not report conservation easements on its certified historic structures in its financial statements. The original structure cost and improvements are capitalized and depreciated. Ongoing structural repairs and maintenance are expensed as incurred.
Pt III, Line 1a	The collection is not recorded in the financial statements; and is protected, cared for and kept unencumbered. The use of proceeds from items that are sold are to be for the acquisitions of new collection items, the direct care of existing collections, or both.
Pt III, Line 4	The Club owns an extensive collection of historical and art objects that are used primarily by members or displayed for their benefit.
Pt X, Line 2	The Club has adopted current accounting principles for uncertain income tax positions that require evaluation of tax positions taken on its income tax returns and recognizing a tax asset or liability if the position would not be sustained under audit. For federal income tax purposes, the returns remain open for possible examination for three years after they are filed. The Club's policy is to recognize interest and penalties on unrecognized tax benefits in other expense in the statement of activities.
