Explanation:

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic our organization had less activity and underwent officer changes as well as office manager and bookkeeper changes. These changes led to a lapse in filing, an extension and a misunderstanding on the due date by the current officers. There was also a misunderstanding about the rule that the 990 needed to be filed electronically as we sent in the forms by mail in late November 2023. It was returned in late December and went unnoticed by the Treasurer until early February, 2024. We have been working on this diligently, but being new to the system, have run into signature and log-in problems.
