	MEMBER SHARE ACCOUNTS The Credit Union's share accounts offer advantages to members of all ages with competitive dividend rates. There were 488 member-owned accounts as of December 31, 2023. Members' share (savings) accounts pay dividends quarterly. The development of consistent savings habits is encouraged to each member. Members are encouraged to come to the office to meet staff and discuss their savings needs.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The Credit Union is open for membership for employees and their families employed by Texas Highway Department District 17. Once they join, they are called members.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The Credit Union has a designated set of eligible people to join their credit union who are then called Members. Annual Meetings are required by law; at the Annual Meeting, membership votes on its Board of Directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	Since Form 990 is required to be filed electronically, the manager reviews the 990 and submits electronically.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15	The Board of Directors reviews the manager's salary outside her presence. Upon discussion and review, the Board of Directors makes the decisions for all increases. The manager is present with the Board when discussing other employees' salaries. However, the Board makes the final decision as to what the salary and/or increases will be.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	The Credit Union's financial statements are available upon request. However, the financial statements are required by law to be posted in the credit union's office by the twenty-first of the month following month-end.
