    When we applied for out tax exempt status we clicked on private foundation and should have clicked on public foundation. When we filed our taxes they were rejected because we filed the wrong forms. We changed our tax status from a private foundation to a public charity. We are trying to correct everything now sending in a short 990-PF for 2021 and short 990-PF & short 990-EZ for 2022 to correct our mistakes.
