28 We provide a $3,000 scholarship to the active chapter that they split between 8 people. We also funded an RVDS regional development mentor to assist with chapter start up that cost $9,080 for the year. We also funded rush t shirts for the active chapter for $731

Return Reference Explanation
Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 We spent $9,080 on the RVDS Fund for the active chapter. The AVC funded a 1-year program where we hired a Regional support staff member to help bring the chapter up to speed. This program is offered through the SigEp National Chapter and was recommended to us by our National Chapter. AVC funded our yearly Balanced Man Scholarship to the active chapter. We donated $3,000 which was split up between 8 of the students who are active members. We let the chapter determine who the scholarships are awarded to each year. We hold a bi-annual alumni weekend. We ask Alumni to pay to come, and we do not charge for the activemembers who want to attend the events. We usually hold a BBQ, play golf and do an activity to promote brotherhood with the active members. David Lindstrom usually pays for the group expenses during Alumni Weekend and we reimburse him afterwards. We held an alumni weekend in Fall 2022, as well as in Spring of 2023. Our net expenditures for alumni weekend exceeded the money we collected from volunteers by $2,446 We also donated $731 to the active chapter to help them purchase rush shirts in Fall of 2022.
