Part X : FIN48 Footnote	Pursuant to a determination letter from the Internal Revenue Service, the Association is exempt from Federal and State income taxes under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue code and Section 23701(e) of the California Revenue and Taxation Code. Therefore, no provision for income taxes has been made.The Organization adopted Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740-10 (previously FASB Interpretation No. 48, Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes (FIN 48)). FASB ASC 740-10 clarifies the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in an entity's financial statements. FASB ASC 740-10 prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement standard for financial statement recognition and measurement of an income tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. In addition, FASB ASC 740- 10 provides guidance on derecognition, classification, interest and penalties, accounting in interim periods, disclosures, and transition.
