What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Education is our primary purpose, specifically the continued education of ISPE members, which is vital to the technology-oriented nature of the pharmaceutical engineering industry and its continued growth and success. Education includes exposure to new technologies, methods, and regulations, first-hand experience accounts, and opportunities to mingle with engineering services experts and component suppliers to learn of new services and products which may improve the pharmaceutical manufacturing and research and development processes.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Symposium is an annual event to provide educational seminars by volunteer speakers on engineering topics for ISPE members and prospective members. The event facilitates introductions and networking between pharmaceutical company representatives and purchasing agents and the vendor companies that may be of use to them and their maintenance, growth, and improvement of manufacturing processes.
