Form 990, Part VI, Line 4	By-law Changes: Changes occur in Article VIII, Section 3; Line C: The Local Union Caretaker will be on full-time union business when the membership exceeds 1600 members. The local union caretaker when coming from the plant will be paid a wage equal to the classification of Assembler and afternoon shift premium for forty (40) hours a week, and all other benefits as described in Article VII-3 (A) for full employees. The Local Union Caretaker when part time will be paid a wage equal to the classification of Assembler per hour for twenty (20) hours a week. In the event of a one-day weekend rental, he/she will be paid 2 hours to let the renter in and 2 hours to let the renter out. In the event of two back-to-back weekend rentals, for the first rental 2 hours to let the renter in, and 6 additional hours to clean up in preparation for the second rental. When there is a 6-hour clean up the caretaker is entitled to a helper for six hours. The helper is to be paid 6 straight time hours at the rate of Assembler, without shift premium. Due to the increased activity at the local a helper will be authorized to work a maximum of 10 hours per week. When the full-time caretaker is not working due to vacation medical leave, etc the helper will be authorized to work full-time caretaker's hours.
