Annual Business Meeting - These in-person meetings are usually held in the Chicagoland suburbs. Meetings provide an opportunity for members and non-member shops to interact with and learn from each other to further their common interests as vehicle collision and mechanical repair service providers. AASP-IL provides opportunities for attendees to discuss issues with each other in addition to presenting formal instruction designed to further the industry. During these meetings, AASP-IL develops and presents industry-specific educational sessions, trainings, and leadership activities. The trainings provide updates on current trends in the industry and seek to educate members on best practices, ethical standards, and skills development for automotive service providers. Event also includes a trade show. |

Legal Webinar Series - AASP-IL hosts regular, hour-long educational webinars for its members and non-member shops. Webinars are intended to promote the common business interests of automotive service providers and improve the industry as a whole by creating a community of informed and professional service providers. AASP-IL has developed and plans on presenting a six-part webinar series on legal issues related to the Illinois Collision Repair Act. Focusing on practical, day-to-day issues, the webinar series will provide an overview of the law and helped automotive service providers and collision repairers minimize liability while remaining in compliance. |
