What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? We Vote is building the next generation of voting tech. We're creating a digital voter guide informed by issues you care about and people you trust. Through our nonpartisan, open source platform, we'll help you become a better voter, up and down the ballot.

28 The purposes for which the corporation is organized are to promote social welfare within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code, including but not limited to: Developing and advocating for legislation, regulations, and government programs to educate voters, as well as the creation of educational tools on the internet that allow users to -- 1) search nonpartisan, unbiased information about state and local ballot measures and legislative issues, to include information provided by League of Women Voters and politicians' voting histories as well as history of the vote in U.S., current voting statistics, and importance of civic engagement, 2) connect with their social media contacts and encourage them to make a plan for how to get themselves and their friends to the polling place on Election Day, 3) connect with their social media contacts and share ideas about ballot and legislative issues.
