Explanation:

Pawtuxet Memorial Park is a small non-profit cemetery. Most of the board is made up of members of the Douglas family. In 2022, our father, William R. Douglas, Sr., who had Alzheimer's needed 24/7 care. Myself and my brother William R. Douglas, Jr. and my sister Robin P. Douglas, provided our father with this care to keep him at home until he died on December 8, 2022. Approximately, four months after that, our mother Mary E. Douglas was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and my brother, sister and I went back into 24/7 care mode to keep our mother at home, where she wished to stay, for as long as we could. My mother Mary died on November 10, 2023. It was an extremely stressful and trying two years. For those two years we did what needed to be done to keep the company going. Now we are catching up on all the things that got put aside. We hope that you will understand and forgive us for delaying to get this to you, while we continue to expand and hire additional staff.
