Pt VI, Line 6	Any person may be a Farm Bureau member. All Farm Bureau members have the same vote and access to member benefits.
Pt VI, Line 7a	The Organizations members elect the Board of Directors each year at the annual meeting. In order to hold an officer position within Farm Bureau, the member must be actively engaged in farming, which must be his/her primary interest.
Pt VI, Line 7b	Decisions of the governing body subject to approval by members include setting annual membership dues and nominating voting delegates to the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation.
Pt VI, Line 11b	Management reviews the documents and presents the return to all members of the governing body. Following final board approval, the return is signed by an officer and submitted to the IRS.
Pt VI, Line 12c	On an annual basis, all officers, directors, and key employees are required to sign a statement which affirms that they have: 1) received a copy of the conflict of interest policy, 2) read and understood the policy, 3) agreed to comply with the policy, 4) understand that the Organization is tax-exempt and in order to maintain its federal tax exemption it must engage primarily in activities which accomplish its tax-exempt purpose. Other	Part III, Line 4a - Policy Development - Wayne County Farm Bureau prides itself on the involvement of the volunteers in creating policy for the organization. We send out an opinionnaire to members via email. We held a meeting to discuss the finding of that opinionnaire and create resolutions that reflect the opinionnaire. These are presented at the annual membership meeting in the fall. We host the local legislators in the board room for legislative coffee during the legislative session. We also meet with them before the session begins.
Other	Part III, Line 4b - Ag Promotion - Wayne County has been very active in promotion of Agriculture. We have been a long-time sponsor of the youth livestock exhibitors at the county fair. We support many local town celebrations and play an active role when possible. We support the youth at the fair by purchasing livestock at the fair auction. We sponsor the Mutton Busting at the county fair. Each contestant is given a shirt with ag promotion on it with each entry. We have a booth in the exhibit building show casing agriculture. We give grocery gift certificates in the local grocery stores for ag promotion during ag week. We are the title sponsor of community movie night along with the local theater. We sponsored the Wall Dogs project where they painted a mural for the 1980s farm crisis.
Other	Part III, Line 4c - Ag in the Classroom - Wayne County Farm Bureau has an Ag in the Classroom Coordinator that visits the third-grade classrooms randomly throughout the year. They present on a variety of topics such as: livestock displays, grain bin safety, chemical safety, and soil health. We also have our annual farm safety day at the Wayne fairgrounds. Each child is presented with a farm safety shirt. We present short lessons on chemical, livestock, grain bin, atv/lawn mower, and PTO/machinery safety.
