What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Our major goal is to serve the youth of West Salem, Oregon. The main way we accomplish this is through student scholarships and grants to teachers for their students' education. These are our major but not our sole areas of service.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 10 a. Eight scholarships to graduating high school seniors of $1000 each were paid to assist them in furthering their education for a total of $8000; b. Ten grants of $500 each were paid to elementary schools, middle schools, and high school for educational programs and equipment for the benefit of students based upon applications submitted by teachers for a total of $5000; c. $200 was paid to University Rotary Service Fund for a Rotary International Service project; d. $300 was paid to Lynnwood Rotary Community Fund for a Rotary International Service project.
