TYPICALLY, EVENTS LAST 3-10 DAYS AND INCLUDE PRESENTATIONS, ACTIVITIES, AND WORKSHOPS COVERING A VARIETY OF TOPICS.PNW-PETS IS A HIGHLY REGARDED TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE ROTARY WORLD. THE CHARGE OF PACIFIC NORTHWEST PETS IS TO HELP PREPARE THE PRESIDENTS-ELECT AS WELL AS OTHER LEADERS. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 5: Fund raising for the Rotary Foundation. Net proceeds from raffle are contributed to the foundation annually. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 6: Leadership Training and travel expenses are incurred for club presidents and district leaders when new leadership is elected. This training helps ensure the mission of the organization is communicated and pursued under the new leader's terms in office.
