	The main focus of the Chicago Chapter is payroll education. We held quarterly meetings and conducted Certified Payroll Professional Certification (FPC) review classes that provided networking opportunities and gave payroll professionals the chance to earn educational credits for attendance. The Chicago chapter supported other charitable activities by volunteering time and making cash donations. During National Payroll week, the Chapter organized for the members, a blend of eductional, networking, and community service opportunities. The Chapter had meetings and events in 2023 including six CPP and five FPC review courses and Illinois Statewide Payroll Conference; provided presentations on new payroll systems, child support enforcement, and year-end preparation. The Chapter attended the national APA Congress for a social event.
