Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To strengthen and impact the Community in which we live by servicing one individual at a time through educational outlets that allows for meaningful leadership training for the future. Each year we partner with the Titusville Community where we meet to sponsor a Community Health Fair that provides free health screenings for community citizens. We also partner with another organization to sponsor a Health Awareness Summit in the neighboring community. Additionally, we have a consistent presence in middle schools throughout the city of Birmingham that mentors young boys.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b During our August Fraternity meeting The Board of Directors recommends an operating budget to the membership for voting and approval. Each member carries one (1) vote. The membership also votes on matters in which the Board of Directors may not agree. The membership may also vote on matters that are motioned from the floor, by another member.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8a Meeting notes are kept for all Board of Directors meetings and General Fraternity (Body) Meetings. Fraternity meetings are scheduled the 2nd Sunday of each month, while Board of Director meetings are held on Thursdays prior to General Fraternity Meetings. Actions discussed and voted on during Board of Directors meetings are then carried to the General Body.

Prior to submission, the KOE communicates the filing date and close of Fraternal Year to Board of Directors. Once accepted, Tax Filings are then shared with the Province (Regional) and International Headquarters (National) Fraternity office, in order to sustain ACTIVE status of the Chapter and in good standing with Province and National bodies.

Form 990, Part IX, Line 11g More than a year ago, Birmingham Alumni Chapter began accepting dues payments and general chapter donations via credit card payment as another method of being efficient. The owners/managers of the of the facility in which we pay rent meet hosted a golf tournament, but had no way to collect payment via credit card. All funds collected by Birmingham Alumni Chapter were given to the owning agency.
Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e As host (rotating event) of this year's annual Province (Regional) Council Meeting, the chapter was tasked to fundraise and present a contribution to a local charity of our (host) choice. Members of the chapter made donations and the chapter sold popcorn to help its efforts to present to three (3) local charities. (1) Faith Chapel.... (2) Firehouse Ministries (3) Maranthan Academy
