Explanation:

Many members of Southside Virginia SHRM left the organization during COVID. I was asked to become Treasurer and had been the Treasurer in the late 1990s when a Form 990EZ was not required. I had no idea the filing was required and since our organization was at the point of dissolution, the President and other Officers were also called back from years past so no one knew of the requirement to file a Form 990EZ.
