	One of the main goals of the IFTA is to educate the membership on growing practices throughout the world. This was accomplished by holding an annual meeting in February each year with about 350 people.

	Another main focus of the IFTA is to provide financial support to those that are conducting research on topics of value to the IFTA membership.
