What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To advance the professional status of county Extension Agents and state faculty with Extension appointments and to encourage and promote and provide professional improvement for all FACAA members and to provide for the exchange of ideas and methods and techniques among members and to represent the professional interests of members in matters of public policy and affairs and to promote public confidence and esteem and respect for the Florida Cooperative Extension Service and FACAA Members and as an official affiliate with the National Association of County Agricultural Agents to cooperate with the NACAA and other professional associations to further the objectives and common interests of association membership

Form 990-EZ, Part V, Line 34 The members of the FACAA organization had been divided into numbered Districts made up of the various counties in the state of Florida. The previous bylaws Article 2 Section 3 allowed 2 Directors to be elected per numbered District. Section 3 of the bylaw was amended to state that the Districts shall stay current and match the UF IFAS administrative organization unless UF IFAS Extension removes Districts completely. The old Districts were District I, District II, District III, District IV, and District V. The new Districts are NW District, NE District, Central District, SW District, and SE District. This realignment changed the way in which some of the counties had been previously grouped. Each new District will still be allowed to elect 2 Directors .State Faculty with Extension appointments will remain to be members of the District in which their office is located.
