	CUC developed positions and drafted public comments for submission to EPA and certain states on their regulations and policies concerning chemical-regulatory activities including those undertaken pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act. CUC representatives also attended public meetings and participated actively in sessions at which regulatory matters were being discussed by EPA and certain state government personnel. CUC members were briefed routinely on federal regulatory and legislative developments concerning chemical-regulatory matters and in certain states.
