Fifty percent (50%) of its total fee, or $50,699.00, was for its services as investment advisor for the Foundation. The other fifty percent (50%) of its total fee, or $50,699.00, specifically pertained to its services as Co-Trustee, and that amount is reflected on Part VII, Item 1 of the Foundation's 2023 return as Compensation of Trustee.Effective April 1, 2023, Roy S. Ross resigned as a Trustee of the Foundation and appointed Warren T Meltzer as his successor Trustee. Roy S. Ross, while serving as Co-Trustee for the Foundation, directed the total of his compensation, both as Co-Trustee and as legal counsel for the Foundation, to be paid to Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis, LLP, the law firm at which Mr. Ross was a partner (The "Firm"). Total fees received by the Firm from the Foundation for 2023 were $3,443.00, of which seventy percent (70%), or $2,410.00 pertained to Mr. Ross' services as Co-Trustee, and thirty percent (30%), or $1033.00 pertained to Mr. Ross' services as legal counsel for the Foundation.
