Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 5	Checking account was scammed March 17, 2023 for $49,999.00 again on March 21, 2023 for $48,500.00. $48,500.00 was recovered and deposited back in the checking account on March 23, 2023. A reversal of $9000.00 on March 21, 2023 to March 23, 2023 from Special Savings to Checking. On April 3, 2023 $1499.99 was deposited into the locals checking account by the President. Then on April 28, 2023 the President deposited $20,000.00 in to the checking account. After invoking the bond for $48,500.00 the local received a check for 43,500.00 and it was deposited on December 13, 2023. The local was informed that the policy had a $5000.00 deductible. On December 18, 2023 the Local reimbursed the President $15,000.00 of the $20,000.00 he deposited on April 28, 2023. By a 3 to 2 vote, it was approved to pay him the $5000.00 used for the deductible. The President asked the executive board not to pay him until our current audit is over. He said if we cut him a check, he would not cash it until the audit was over. The treasurer has not cut the $5000.00 check to the President.
