What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To support the American Legion and honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans military and their families both at home and abroad. For God and Country we advocate for veterans educate our citizens mentor youth and promote patriotism good citizenship peace and security.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Auxiliary holds a weekly bingo and small games of chance that is open to the general public. There are approximately 40 players each week Proceeds are used to make donations to Veteran and Community organizations that are exempt under section 501 c 3 of the IRC.

29 Members of the Auxiliary distribute poppies on National Poppy Day at several local businesses. Proceeds from the distribution are used for the welfare of veterans and their families.

30 Several months of the year a take out dinner is open to the general public. Auxiliary and Veterans work together to prepare and serve the meals. Approximately 300 meals are prepared for each dinner.

In August the Auxiliary held an Ice Cream Social that was open to auxiliary and legion members and the general public. In addition to the ice cream and food there was a petting zoo a DJ provided music face painter and balloon artist for the children.

The Auxiliary sponsored an essay contest to promote Americanism with a local elementary school. Members of the Auxiliary's Essay Committee reviewed the essays and decided the winners. $ prizes were awarded to 1st 2nd and 3rd place for the grades that participated. In addition the winners were presented a certificate by the VP of the Auxiliary.
