28 DURING THE TAX YEAR, THE BREMEN COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT (BCVFD) PROVIDED FIRE PROTECTION TO A RURAL AREA OF 60 SQ. MILES AND A POPULATION OF 3428. THE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED TO 31 REPORTS OF FIRE. A TOTAL OF 3 FALSE ALARMS WERE REPORTED, WHICH WERE TYPICALLY SMOKE/FIRE ALARMS AND SMOKE SCARES.
