The general purpose of Mu Sigma Chapter is embodied in the mission statement of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc to address the concerns that impact society educationally civically socially economically and religiously Furthermore the chapter shall foster promote and encourage high standards of academic excellence and quality education stimulate and promote a true spirit of sisterhood and engage the members in activities and projects locally regionally and nationally that render Greater Service Greater Progress
