What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Rotary Club of Lake Wylie is a group of business owners, professionals, and concerned citizens united in the common goal of "doing good" in the Lake Wylie community and the world by supporting philanthropy and volunteer projects. We unite with other clubs worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards, and to build peace and goodwill.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Weekly meetings with guest speakers where club members discuss local community service opportunities. Rotary is an organization of successful professionals. Team-building, fundraising, public speaking, planning, organization, and communication are just some of the leadership skills that club members can exercise and enhance. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto "Service Above Self."
