This category may vote on matters applicable to this membership. Supplier Coucil Membership (SC) - Organizations or firms engaged in any of the following: construction or manufacture of new school bus bodies and/or chassis: manufacturing or selling materials/components used in the manufacture of new school buses or in the school transportation aftermarket; supplying professional services that support school transportation; providing public or private pupil transportation; school bus dealerships; or providing media coverage with a focus on school transportation. This membership category may vote on the affairs of this council. State and National Associations Coucil Membership (SNAC)- State, national, and provincial associations involved in promoting school transportation safety, security, and efficiency. This membership category may vote on the affairs of this council.Associate Membership - An individual who is not eligible for membership in any other category may become an associate member. This membership does not have voting rights.Complimentary Membership - The President, with Board approval, may confer four (4) honary.

	The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transpotation Services (NASDPTS)purpose is to provide leadership, assistance,and motivation to the nation`s school transportation community and industry. The Association works to ensure safe, secure, environmentally responsible, and cost effective transportation to school children and ensure their continued access to school and school related activities.Each state has an appointed "State Director" for pupil transportation. The appointees are either a part of their state`s education department or a state law enforcement or traffic safety agency.
