What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The exempt purpose of the Rotary Club of Iowa City - Noon is to provide service to others promote integrity and advance world understanding goodwill and peace through our fellowship of business professional and community leaders. These are the tenets of Rotary International of which this club is a part.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 RYLA World Affairs: Rotary Youth Leadership Academy RYLA is a leadership development program for young people who want to learn new skills build their confidence and have fun. Events range from one-day seminars to weeklong camps. In Iowa it is an annual event at a regional college where Clubs send youth from local high schools to engage in leadership training for one week. Students present to the Club at a regular meeting after their experience. For 2023-2024 fiscal year 12 students were supported by Iowa City Noon Rotary at Grinnell College RYLA. 20 students were sent to the World Affairs seminar in Waukesha WI.
