Form 990EZ, Part III, Organization's Primary Exempt Purpose	The mission of Los Abogados is to develop, empower, and support the Latino community through the advancement of the legal profession.
Form 990EZ, Part III, Line 28	LLos Abogados prides itself on its long-standing relationships with the Latino student organizations at both Arizona law schools, the Chicano Latino Law Student Association, CLLSA at the Sandra Day OConnor College of Law and the Latino Law Student Association, LLSA at the James E. Rogers College of Law. In addition to our mentorship program, which pairs attorney mentors with law students in both organizations, Los Abogados routinely donates money to support each groups endeavors. Generally, Los Abogados provides funding, including registration fees and travel expenses, to four CLLSA students so they can compete in the annual Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition.
FOrm 990EZ, Part III, Line 28 continued	This competition is important for the students skill development, resume building, and network. Other funding contributed by Los Abogados is used by the groups to provide their members with scholarships for items such as books and bar exam prep course fees. In addition, Los Abogados provides funding so that CLLSA and LLSA may host social and networking events. Attendance at these events ranges from 10 to over 30 law students and is important for their development and networking.
