29 The Kit Home Tour took place on September 30, 2023. A hundred years ago you could order a home from a Sears catalog. In today's terms, it's kind of like ordering something from Amazon. These homes were shipped to you in a train box car and every piece of lumber was labeled. You would receive detailed plans on how to put those pieces together. They sent you everything you needed, including the nails. The Berkley Kit Homes Tour celebrates these homes across the city and included 6 homes on the tour in 2023.
