What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To raise funds to support deserving local domestic and international causes. This years primary focus was Literacy.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Literacy program "Today a Reader Tomorrow a Leader" Provided books and education on the values of service to children in Carroll County. The program addressed the lack of books and educational resources in impoverished homes which can hinder childrens chances of success. Nearly 1,700 books were distributed to all county 3rd grade students elementary school media centers pediatrician offices preschools daycare centers and libraries.
