DSL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE VSCA ANNUAL STATE CONVENTION. | Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a | The Board appoints its Board members - one-third are elected annually in addition to the President. No Board Member can serve for more than 2 consecutive 3-year terms. Members constantly guide the Board as to what services they need as members of an educational professional organization. At the annual business meeting, members have an opportunity to nominate officers and directors to the board, and to also submit resolutions for membership approval.
