What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Local 3816's primary purpose as a labor organization is to act as the collective bargaining agent for the full time faculty of Prairie State College. Our primary activities for which no grants are received are to: Collect dues from members, Transmit dues to the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT), Negotiate labor contracts between Prairie State College and Local 3816, File and resolve grievances and Conduct meetings to disseminate important information to members.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Local 3816's primary purpose as a labor organization is to act as the collective bargaining agent for the 80 - 90 full time faculty of Prairie State College.
