AT ALLIANCE AT MEEK, PINS PROGRAMMING IS PROVIDED AS AN ELECTIVE COURSE AND A SUPPLEMENTARY SUPPORT FOR INCOMING STUDENTS IN THEIR ORIENTATION PROGRAM. KEY YEAR-END OUTCOMES AND IMPACTS FOR 2022-23: 8 PPS HIGH SCHOOLS RECEIVED OUR TEEN PROGRAMMING. 482 STUDENTS COMPLETED OUR MINDFUL STUDIES ELECTIVE CLASS, THE MOST IN- DEPTH, MINDFULNESS-BASED COURSE IN PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS NATIONALLY. 94% OF STUDENTS FOUND THAT THE LESSONS FROM MINDFUL STUDIES CLASS SUPPORTED THEM IN DEALING WITH STRESS. 84.4% OF STUDENTS FOUND THAT THE MINDFUL STUDIES CLASS SUPPORTED A SENSE OF BELONGING AT THEIR SCHOOL. MOST STUDENT RESPONDENTS (94.6%) FOUND THAT PRACTICING MINDFULNESS HELPE THEM BE MORE PRESENT AND AWARE. OUR MINDFUL STUDIES ELECTIVE CONTINUED TO SEE HIGH LEVELS OF ENROLLMENT OF LGBTQ+ STUDENTS; RESEARCH POINTS TO THIS CLASS BEING AN EFFECTIVE MENTAL HEALTH INTERVENTION FOR THIS POPULATION. 95% OF STUDENT RESPONDENTS REPORTED USING MINDFULNESS TOOLS, IDEAS, AND PRACTICES IN THEIR LIVES OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL. ADULT PROGRAMS: PEACE IN SCHOOLS OFFERS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMMING FOR ADULTS. SOME OFFERINGS ARE OPEN TO ALL, OTHERS ARE MORE SPECIFIC TO EDUCATORS. BELOW IS A LIST OF THE PROGRAMS OFFERED IN 2022-23. TIER 1 ADULT PROGRAMMING: OPEN TO ALL -WEEKLY PAUSE AND PRACTICE MINDFULNESS IN COMMUNITY EVERY TUESDAY -MEDITATION FOR SETTLING THE HEART -NOURISHING A SENSE OF WONDER -WHAT'S JOY GOT TO DO WITH IT? -FINDING REFUGE IN CHAOS OVER THE MONTH OF MAY 2023, OVER 100 TEENS, EDUCATORS, COLLEAGUES, AND THEIR FAMILIES JOINED US FOR PAUSE FOR PEACE, AN INTERACTIVE MINDFULNESS EXPERIENCE, WHICH INCLUDED A DAILY MINDFULNESS JOURNAL AND 3 WEEKS OF LESSON PLANS. AT THE CONCLUSION OF PAUSE FOR PEACE, WE WERE HONORED TO HOST OUR FIRST-EVER TEEN MENTAL HEALTH FORUM. MINDFUL STUDIES TEENS AND TEACHERS TOOK CENTER STAGE AS WE GOT THEIR TAKE ON MINDFULNESS, MENTAL HEALTH, AND MORE. TIER 2 ADULT PROGRAMMING: FOR YOUTH SERVING PROFESSIONALS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: GFOR THE LOVE OF TEACHING,H A 4 WEEK VIRTUAL SERIES FOR TEACHERS GMINDFULNESS FOR BURNOUT,H A FREE WEBINAR GTEACHING TEENS: FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING,H AN IN PERSON WORKSHOP FOCUSED ON THE WINDOW OF TOLERANCE, WELCOMING OUR EXPERIENCE AND OFFERING OUR BODIES SOME CARE AND GRACE WORKING WITH PPS: ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE PORTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS DISTRICT WERE ABLE TO REGISTER FOR PEACE IN SCHOOLS' LIVE AND SELF-PACED ONLINE MINDFULNESS COURSES AND RECEIVE COURSE CREDIT.
