What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Snowmobile Recreation
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 NW Riders, Inc. is a subsidiary of The Vermont Association of Snow Travelers (VAST). We are a club of approx 179 members who maintain snow trails for snowmobile riders. Members pay annual club membership dues with a % submitted to VAST and the remaining retained by the club to maintain groomers, trails and equipment. There is a committed President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Member Chair, Finance/Trail Master, Groomer Coordinator, and three Directors. The Trail Master oversees grooming, and set-up, bridge repair, and also obtains permission from land owners for land use by members to ride on trails. The Member Chair coordinates membership sales with local businesses and the members. Monthly meetings are held for members and officers.
