| Form 990, Part V, Line 3b | We conduct a Learn to Curl for prospective members and Corporate Outings for businesses. These are manned by volunteers and the Club supplies the materials to Curl. I did not file a Form 990 T because of this. I will file a Form 990T in the future if you like. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 | Approximately 75 Households vote for the 12 Board members - these are the members of the Philadelphia Curling Club, and you must become a member by Year-3 of your membership. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8b | There are Committees but they do not act alone - the Committees report back to the Board and the Board votes. The only exception to this rule is when the Nominating Committee comes up with a slate of candidates (always at least one more than the openings on the Board.) All Minutes are published via Dropbox and are open to the members therein. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b | We had a Board Meeting in July, and I emailed it to everyone in advance of the meeting, it was reviewed and people asked relevant questions. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 | The Club uses its website for the Disclosure of the Bylaws and all Dues paying members and non-members have access to this document. Should anyone of the public want them all they have to do is ask a Board member who will let the President know (only know, not approve) and then give the documents to the person asking. All members are welcome to attend any Board meeting. |
