OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 7: Spencer Young Professionals- A group of Young and Middle-Aged Professionals organized to assist the Spencer Chamber of Commerce in progression of the Spencer Community. Also responsible for the Chamber Chill, which is a social gathering taking place during summer months to gather the public together to enjoy music, food, and refreshments. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 8: Take A Break- A program for farmers to stop and eat during harvest season when puting in the long hours. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 9: Ambassadors - A group that welcomes new business, recognizes existing businesses with new personnel and celebrates significant accomplishments. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 10: Community Development- Promoting Spencer outside of its city boundary by promoting our area to visitors and encouraging them to consider Spencer for their next convention or meeting destination as well as exploring the many attractions and cultural activities of Spencer and Clay County. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 11: Eggs & Issues - An event that allows the public to meet one-on-one with their state representatvies on issues facing the state and our community. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 12: MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT-PROVIDE EVENTS TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO PROMOTE GROWTH AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN LOCAL BUSINESSES. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 13: PUBLICATION-PROVIDE A SEMI ANNUAL MAGAZINE PROMOTING THE SPENCER AND ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTING BUSINESSES IN SPENCER. OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 14: COUNTY TOURISM-PROVIDING MARKETING TO CLAY COUNTY OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES 15: Work Based Learning-a program in collabration with the local school to provide job experiences to high school seniors with local businesses. |
