What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The organization's primary exempt purpose is to protect the retirement benefits of the membership and to provide for the well-being of retired school personnel through their participation in legislative, educational, and social programs that seek to enhance their retirement and continued contributions to education in Baltimore City and the State of Maryland. The organization is exempt for its service to members of the organization, local community, and schools in the Baltimore City Public School System.

Part !, Line 8 Other revenue came from the money received for the Fall Luncheon, Spring Luncheon, 50/50 Raffle at each Luncheon, and a donation from Iota Lambda Sorority for the Health Fair.
Part I, Line 16 Other expenses that the organization incurred was expense for Website, officer's insurance, MRSPA baskets for their Annual Meeting, and reimbursement to the treasurer for e-filing 21 and 22 990-EZ Forms.
Part III Statement of Program Service Accomplishment Starting July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023, the organization was able to complete several different activities. The organization was able to keep at least 700 members abreast of up to date information on legislation affecting their pension, upcoming activities, and member benefits through the publication of three Newsletters. Members of the organization who were sick received get-well cards and cards were also sent to families grieving the loss of their loved ones. The organization also had a successful Health Fair for members and the community as well as a Fall and Spring Luncheon for members.
Part IV Officers, Directors, Trustees, and Key Employees The Association of Baltimore City Public School Retirees, Incorporated has no employees who are paid a salary. The officers and the Members-at-Large are not paid a salary. All of the work that they do is volunteer. They volunteer throughout the year to attend monthly meeting, visiting seniors, send cards to members, and attending its and State functions to stay abreast of information for dissemination to members.
