Explanation:

This 501(c)4 (Construction Forum STL) has been inactive since 2020 and was dissolved by the State of Missouri in 2023. Under a new strategic plan, in 2020 all of it activities moved under a 501(c)3 called Construction Forum (EIN 81-1254809), which is current in all IRS filings. The 501(c)4 was kept open in the event that any civic campaigns were undertaken, which did not prove to be the case. Construction Forum STL had no activities, no income, and no expense since 2020. We believed that the attorney for the 501(c)3 had filed a 2002 firm, which proved not to be the case. Staff of the 501(c)3 filed a final 990 in May of 2024, but did so by fax because we were not aware of the electronic requirement. Our CPAs, who file the 501(c)3 returns were not involved because of the expense and therefore could not advise of the need to file electronically.
