| Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 15a | The President of the Organization will conduct an annual performance appraisal of the Executive Director. The evaluation is to be conducted one on one and a written document is to be provided in addition to an appraisal evaluation utilized by the President. The Executive Director will complete a self-evaluation and the President will enlist the feedback of the Foundation President, Presidential Cycle, and Executive Board. Proposed goals must be set by the Executive Director and outgoing President, and reviewed and finalized by the Executive Director and the incoming President. Once conducted, the final evaluation is signed and copies are sent to the incoming President and President Elect. The review report should include compensation recommendations for the coming year, and include a bonus and/or market equity adjustment with justification. The compensation recommendations should be aligned with like industry" association benchmarks. The information from the American Society of Association Executive is used as the benchmarking tools for determining the Executive Director's compensation. The compensation recommendations are considered and approved by the Finance Committee. |
