Doctors of optometry in North Dakota are required to attend 50 hours of continuing education in a 3 year cycle in order to maintain their license to practice. The education attended must be approved by the North Dakota State Board of Optometry.The annual congress held October 19-October 20, 2023 had 58 optometrists and 37 paraoptometric staff who were registered and attended state approved training courses for a total of eight (8) hours of continuing education.Continuing education assures that Doctors of Optometry, practicing in the state of ND, are well-informed in the latest practices, technology, procedures, pharmacology, management modalities and developments in eye care.

Doctors of optometry in North Dakota are required to attend continuing education in order to maintain their license to practice. The education attended must be approved by the North Dakota State Board of Optometry.The spring conference held March 30-March 31, 2023 had 59 registrants, who attended state approved training courses for a total of nine (9) hours of continuing education. Continuing education assures that Doctors of Optometry, practicing in the state of ND, are well-informed in the latest practices, technology, procedures, pharmacology, management modalities and developments in eye care.
