Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15	The Board composes itself into a compensation committee without the Executive Director present. It then relies on Human Resource departments of the largest member newspapers to extract data from compensation surveys from non-profits in the state as well as a national compensation survey done by Newspaper Association Managers. After a period of some weeks and a couple of meetings, the committee decides on a figure for executive compensation.
