General explanation attachment Part III - Primary Exempt PurposeThe purpose of Cherry Point Spouses Club is to provide charitable assistance to youth groups, schools, and organizations that benefit and serve in the community. College scholarships are granted to good students to encourage and assist in their pursuit of a college education. The Whistle Stop Thrift Shop raises most of their funds as well as providing a way to recirculate used clothes and household goods at very good prices helping young families purchase at less than new prices.
