What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Ida-Lew Economic Development Council Inc (Ida-Lew EDC) Was organized to assist and encourage business and economic development in Idaho and Lewis Counties in Idaho.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Ida-Lew EDC has one full time employee who meets with community leaders and business owners whenever he can find an audience to discuss ideas, needs, and resources from the community and from outside the community. Employee helps connect business owners to resources, both public and private, to help facilitate business success and employment growth. Ida-Lew EDC has also initiated a local committee of concerned citizens to discuss and share ideas on how to improve the local housing situation. Ida-Lew EDC partners with other economic development organizations such as SBDC (Small Business Development Council (https://amerlcassbdc.org/about-us/)) and CEDA (Clearwater Economic Development Association (http://www.clearwater-eda.org/)).
