	The Associations purpose is to provide protection to Idaho resident policyholders in the event of the failure of the insurance company that issued their life annuity or health insurance policy. This is the Associations only program service and constitutes 100% of the Associations time. In calendar year 2024 the Association provided policyholder benefits to Idaho resident insureds of 4 insolvent insurers. The Association also provided support to insurance company receivers former insureds etc. for a number of open and closed insolvency estates.
