What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Preserving, honoring, and conveying the camaraderie, commitment, accomplishments, and traditions of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment (WWII) and its successor units.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 506 Infantry Regiment Scholarship Fund: The objective of this fund is to provide financial aid to students attending undergraduate or graduate programs at colleges and universities in the United States of America. To be eligible for our scholarship, the applicant or the applicant's parent, grandparent, spouse, or sibling must have served with the 506th Infantry. An essay must accompany the application, which will support their eligibility, and include personal achievements. We ask that the student provide their future goals and objectives with the intent of selecting students that uphold our traditions and can carry this towards the next generation. The scholarship fund is disbursed among the top 6 student winning essays.

29 The 506th Association Morale Fund aka Packages and Morale Fund: This fund has been established to provide support for active duty soldiers of the 506th Infantry Regiment for the sole purpose of improving unit morale. We seek to provide morale boosting items, such as Currahee Battle Flags, 506th Association items, and other products or services that will support our troops. This fund and future projects are based upon the level of support received.

30 The Currahee Mountain Cleanup Fund: This fund was established to assist and participate with volunteers and other organizations during the bi-annual cleanups. The Currahee Mountain Cleanup Project is working on restoring and conserving this historical landmark in Northeast Georgia. We look to support the generous volunteers with the removal of trash and graffiti by providing cleaning supplies and specialized equipment, such as pressure washers. For added support, members of the 506th Association are encouraged to volunteer their time.
