What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? ANDERSON COUNTY SPORTSMAN'S CLUB INC IS A LIMITED MEMBERSHIP OUTDOOR RECREATION FACILITY FOR FIREARM AND ARCHERY SHOOTING, CONSERVATION ACTIVITIES AND YOUTH EDUCATION. THE PROPERTY CONSISTS OF MULTIPLE SHOOTING RANGES FOR ADULT AND YOUTH INDIVIDUALS, AS WELL AS, HUNTER EDUCATION CLASSES AND MENTORED HUNTS. ALSO PROVIDE RANGE ACCESS FOR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES, 4H EDUCATION ACTIVITIES AND WOUNDED WARRIOR PROGRAMS.

LOCAL CONSERVATION OFFICERS AND LANDOWNERS PROVIDE PROPERTY ACCESS AND MENTORSHIP TO YOUTH UNDER 15 YEARS OF AGE WITH A DESIRE TO DEER HUNT. 15 YOUTH WERE PROVIDED WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO SCOUT, HUNT, HARVEST AND PROCESS A DEER DURING THE LOCAL YOUTH HUNT WEEKEND IN OCTOBER. THERE WAS SUFFICIENT INVENTORY OF ITEMS AND LOCAL INVOLVEMENT TO HAVE MINIMAL EXPENSES FOR THIS EVENT.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 10 Organization supports the community, local youth and youth of our members. College scholarship money is given to 3 deserving high school seniors. Up to 3 youth are provided scholarships for the summer Conservation Camps put on by the Dept of Fish & Wildlife. Other donations go to the Young Marines, Shop with A Cop and other deserving youth organizations. The organization also provides Thanksgiving and Christmas for a local family who needs a little help - all the groceries, decor and gifts for the entire season.
