Summary of Direct Charitable Activities
List the foundation’s four largest direct charitable activities during the tax year. Include relevant statistical information such as the number of organizations and other beneficiaries served, conferences convened, research papers produced, etc. Expenses
1 Pedersen and allied families family history project. Genealogical research for the Pedersen family was carried out by volunteers working under the direction of entity officers. Volunteers contributed more than 500 hours to the project. The sum of these efforts resulted in the addition of 437 individuals and families being added to the Pedersen and allied families pedigree. 18,000
2 Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Cash Payments in support of missionaries. 2,000
3 Pedersen Family memories project. Durring 2024 the Pedersen Charitable Foundation assisted in the publishing of the collected writings of Gilbert Pedersen a brother to the original founder of the PCF. Gilbert died in 2024 and we joined in a project to digitally publish and print copies of these journals and books for family members. A total of 65 hours were donated to the project during 2024 754
4 Pedersen gravestone and gravesite maintenance and restoration project. During 2022 volunteers from the PCF traveled to and inspected 3 cemetaries and rehabilitated 6 gravesites. Gavesites visited and restored were located in Arizona Wyoming and Texas. 3,512
