Part I, Line 2: Central Maine Growth Council (CMGC) offers grants to new businesses through the State of Maine Economic Recovery Implementation Hub (ERIH) grant program. This has a performance period of 01/20/23-01/20/25. CMGC operational activities and standards align with 2 CFR 200 and all additional federal or state statutory requirements tied to this particular funding source (e.g. SLFRF). In addition to this, CMGC employs a standardized intake, client management, and reporting process for grant processing which produces concurrent client and/or project-specific technical assistance. Intake process: Collection of baseline data, NAICS codes, internal policies, and key business info. Allows for proper vetting, project team assignment, and quality control of potential applicants. Through individual scoping meetings the CMGC team is able to provide education on grant program eligibility, scoring criteria, and regulatory requirements ensuring a higher rate of qualified grant applicants from the outset. Application & Scoring: Businesses meeting the eligibility requirements of the ERIH grant program are welcome to submit an application through CMGC portal requesting amounts between $5,000 and $49,000. Eligibility requirements are: 1) engage in operations on or after January 2020 2) Located in Somerset and Kennebec counties 3) Registered to do business with the State of Maine 4) can illustrate a negative impact from Covid-19. Once an application is submitted and deemed complete, CMGC grant scoring committee reviews all provided documents and completes individual scoring based on our standardized rubric. If an application is considered incomplete, the program team will reach out to the applicant with a request for additional information. If an application is deemed awardable, notice goes out within 7 days of the decision, and a check is mailed to the provided business headquarters address within 14 days. If an application is considered ineligible or did not score high enough for award, a decline letter is mailed to the provided business headquarters address within 7 days of decision. Technical Assistance: CMGC's program team provides technical assistance including business planning, site planning, accessing sources of public capital and incentives, workforce development, and PR & Marketing. These complementing resources when layered into the standardized intake vetting and quality control process ensures that qualified candidates are applying with sufficient access to resources, placing them in the best position to succeed in their projects. Reporting: Upon application submission, Grantees attest to complying with all required federal, state, local, and administrative requirements outlined in CMGC's grant program guidance document. This includes agreeing to participate in regular reporting on the status and impact of the grant award. Grantees are sent reporting requests in 6 month increments where they are required to provide updates on the operational status, success, challenges, economic and community impact of their grant awards.

However, Central Maine Growth Council reimbursed $32,389 of Kimberly Lindlof's compensation and 100% of the compensation for Garvan Donegan and Nicole Timmins.
