1	Publication of Volumes 15.1, 16.1, 16.2, 17 of the Bulletin of Chinese Linguistics, a highly respected international journal publishing cutting-edge scholarship by established researchers and the younger generation of scholars. It plays a vital role in the Society's mission to foster high-quality research in Chinese linguistics and related fields, such as Sino-Tibetan and other languages related to Chinese such as Tibeto-Burman and Tai-Kradai. The journal provides a global forum for scholarly exchanges to continue the great tradition embodied and fostered by Professor Li, and to shed new light and explore new horizons in historical, comparative, and typological studies. Articles are peer-reviewed and published in either English or Chinese. Each issue is a significant undertaking, requiring the solicitation, peer review, and editing of a half dozen to a dozen articles totaling well over 100 pages, as well as a significant publication expense.
